Brain-Guided Implantology:
Assessing Implant Receptor Sites with 3D Imaging Modalities

The purpose of this program will be to aid clinicians in understanding how to achieve successful diagnosis and management of deficient sites, matching implant types with receptor sites within the framework of restoratively driven protocols to provide long-term functional and restorative success for single implants, multiple implants, and “All-on-X” full-arch reconstruction.

Learn the critical information you need about this timely topic from Dr. Wadhwani, a dentistry expert with over 30 years of experience as a dentist, adjunct professor, faculty member, award-winning lecturer, and author. He will explore many of the problems encountered with cement selection and application techniques and give clinical guidelines based on research projects currently being undertaken.

Objectives:

  • To diagnosis using 3D CBCT imaging
  • To understand the “Triangle of Bone” concept for treatment planning
  • Concepts regarding immediate extraction and immediate implant placement
  • Concepts to determine screw- or cement-retained restorations
  • Decision tree for immediate or delayed, single and “All-on-X” reconstruction
  • Understanding the application of Implant Stability Quotients (ISQ) values
